One of the main things I love about modding and building computers is the awesome community. Regardless of if you are new to modding or if you are a seasoned professional, there is always a level of respect and admiration. There is always something to learn and everyone I have met so far has been great!
Here I want to give some special mentions to the people that have either helped me along the way, inspired me or are simply awesome people. To find out more about them, click on the pictures of their builds!
A fellow UK modder, Joe “JR23” Robey is a genius with rendering and designing. He can create the PC on his computer before he even touches any hardware. He works with Parvum Systems a lot to create some amazing builds! He is also a great guy, he has given me lifts and his time often! Cheers man!
Tim ‘Hukkel’ Warning is one of the first modders that inspired me. The first build I saw of his had orange in it, so it was an instant like! I started to speak to him on a cable sleeving forum and from there we seemed to cross paths on many other forums. I speak to Tim a lot and he is a great modder, if I cant do a build, I like to pass it to him as he has fresh ideas, He also was kind enough to give me a quick tour of Rotterdam when I visited his home country, Holland!! Thanks buddy!
Another UK modder, Joseph “MODZERO” Glover is starting to rack up some really nice builds, sponsors have started to come in for him now and its not surprising! He creates some excellent clean builds and has a very good eye for detail. He is yet another awesome guy, helping me to get to and from events as I couldn’t carry all 6 of my computers! Cheers bro!
Probably one of the most popular modders I have had the pleasure to meet is Dutch modder Peter “L3P” Brands, He is well known for his awesome L3P desk which was one of the builds that started the “desk build” craze and it is easy to see why. It really is a beast! It is usually easy to spot an L3P build, just look for the UV green!
Yet another Dutch modder, Richard “Kier” Keirsgieter is another seasoned pro. I have followed many of his builds from his sons awesome mine craft Creeper build to his newest creations! I have learnt a lot from his pictures and will learn more as time goes on I’m sure!
Femke “FAT” Toele is a lovely modder from Holland. She is a jeweller by trade and you can see this crossing into her builds. They are super clean, pretty and draw your eyes like a show build should! She is really nice to talk to and although I have only met her the once, it was like we had been friends for years!
Daniel “B negative” Harper is a fantastic modder from the UK. His airbrush work is excellent and his ideas are great. You will usually see him sprucing up In Win cases as he loves the premium finish and unique designs they offer. He is not alone in his adventures though, the brains and beauty behind him is Magoo, his little dog!
