In Win Mod In Taiwan – HUUUUGE Thank You to ALL!

posted on June 7, 2016 / 1 Comment

Well, the blog didn't go so well when I was in Taiwan! The schedule was pretty hectic and there was that many media partners there, sharing their posts on my facebook wall was far quicker for me. However, this is definitely a post that I wanted to write. It isn't often that I write posts with so much heart behind them and I don't even know if it will come across in writing. I want to thank certain people for making the trip what it was - awesome. Even though I was hospitalised for 3 nights, it somehow made it …

posted on May 31, 2016 / 0 Comments

It was time to leave the UK for a while to compete in the In Win Mod In Taiwan event, we were up at 8am, packed our bags, got to the airport and jumped on a huge Emirates A380 to take us to Dubai for our connection. RGBear was with us of course and was checking out the view... we would soon be in the air! The UK In Win rep Justin was with us the whole way to ensure that we didn't get or do anything silly, well, he tried his best anyway.... Landing in Dubai 6.5 hours later we were all …

Hands On With Corsair Link 4 Software

posted on April 8, 2016 / 4 Comments

This is something a little different from me, I don’t usually review software, but Corsair mentioned that they had new version of the  Link software, Link 4. I mentioned I didn't think I would be the best person for it as I hated the previous software, it was buggy, riddled with issues and caused more problems than it solved in my opinion. Corsair told me that due to this, I was exactly what they were looking for, they wanted to change my opinion of the software and try and convince me it is now worth it. A hard sell! Corsair sent …

My Geeky Trip to Germany – Day 4 – be quiet! .

posted on February 13, 2016 / 0 Comments

After the 6 am bedtime after drinking copious amounts of German beer and the 10 am wake up I was rather tired and thought I best take it easy for the day, but I had a visit to be quiet! arranged to meet my sponsor Katharina. I had met her previously in the UK and she has always been nice so it was great that I could visit her. There were quite a few places I was not allowed to take pictures as they had products that were in development stages so these pictures are not all of the areas, …

My Geeky Trip to Germany – Day 2 – Alphacool.

posted on February 9, 2016 / 0 Comments

Day 2 is already over!!! Damn, this trip is going fast!! Today I visited Alphacool and met the people behind the water blocks and learnt how they were measured, learnt about how they do their quality control, saw some new products, some I will be showing soon, some I am not allowed to talk about (but they are pretty awesome!). So, the day started at 6.30am, I got ready and went for breakfast with Atila and Aleksander from www.pcaxe.com, they have come from Serbia and Hungary to here and they are awesome guys! I, of course, took RGBear! We then got picked …

My Geeky Trip to Germany – Day 1 – Aquatuning.

posted on February 8, 2016 / 1 Comment

So Today I woke up at 3 am, had a quick bath and got the shuttle to my airport, it was only 5 minutes away, but I had a few bags and it was raining, but I didn't let it dampen my spirits, it was Germany day!!! Boarding the flight was a strange one.... there were only 12 of us on the flight!!! It meant we could all get 2 seats each to stretch out - Nice! Of course RGBear wanted to look out of the window the whole way! So I landed in Hannover 25 minutes early, left the departure gate …

My Geeky Trip to Germany – Day 0

posted on February 7, 2016 / 1 Comment

Well, I am currently in my hotel room, less than half a mile away from the airport waiting to fall asleep ready to meet the guys and gals at Alphacool. I have been looking forward to this for a while now so I am excited to go! For now though, I am here (with RGBear - my teddy companion). I was going to play some games, but I thought that would keep me awake, typing usually tires me out :D So, I thought I would somewhat document where I am going, what I am doing and the reason for my trip, …

BitFenix Pandora ATX Review

posted on February 2, 2016 / 0 Comments

Introduction, Packaging and Accessories Well, I have a little bit of a soft spot for the original Pandora, it wasn't the best case in the world by any stretch of the imagination and it had quite a few little flaws but I really enjoyed working on it and my "Pandora's Purple Box" build got a lot of attention all over the world! When I was looking for my next review, I was asked if I could take a look at the new BitFenix Pandora ATX. It was a no brainer for me, I wanted to see if BitFenix had moved their …
